Once we commit our lives to Christ we soon realize that the Christian life is not a playground, in fact, we learn quickly it’s a battleground. If we’re not diligent to keep close to our Lord we’ll find ourselves in a losing battle.
Jeremiah 7:24-25 states, “…My people went backward and not forward.”
God states in Hebrews 10:38, “But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
Step 1 - Arguing with Jesus
Isaiah 45:9 "Woe to him who strives with his Maker!"
In Matthew 16:21-22 Jesus just told the disciples that He had to go to Jerusalem to die and rise again, but "Peter took Jesus aside and corrected him. "Heaven forbid, Lord," he said. "This will never happen to you!"

1. REMEMBER from where you have fallen.Remember what it was like when you first came to Christ, how in love with your Bible you were.
Remember how you loved to go to church, how you loved to share in the Lord’s Table and be around other believers. Remember how exciting it was to tell others about Jesus. Remember the joy you felt about how much God loved you.
